Frederick E. Nusbaum, 71, of Elkhart, passed away January 23, 2008 at Goshen General Hospital.
He was born to Clifford E. and Bertha (Strycker) Nusbaum and married Donna Miller on April 21, 1956 in Angola, IN. She died June 4, 1994. He then married Betty Kilmer on August 30, 1997. She survives with 2 daughters, Kim (Greg) LeBarron of Warsaw and Cheryl Morgan of Raleigh, NC; a son, Fred E. (Holly) Nusbaum Jr. of Elkhart; 2 stepsons, Shawn (Tracy) Kilmer and Craig Kilmer both of Elkhart, 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Bertie (Ken) Crago of Indianapolis and Jayne Holdeman of New Paris, IN and 2 brothers, Frank Nusbaum of Goshen and Dave (Linda) Nusbaum of Tomball, TX. A brother, Charles "Ben" Nusbaum preceded in death.
Visitation is from 2-6 pm Sunday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 am Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Momcilo Vincic officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to American Lung Association or Humane Society of Elkhart Co.
Mr. Nusbaum was a self-employed truck driver and a member of Liberty Community Church in Goshen. He loved to golf and was a member of the O.O.I.D.A.

The managers I work with also got me some very nice flowers in sympathy. They are so sweet!
All in all, it is good to be back.
